The info on the patch format is not perfect in the sdk. To help a little, i
have put on epas patchkit. It was done in parallel to the sdk (meaning all the
info was gathered before the sdk and updated with the help of some netters).
Several people on the list already have it, but you may check to see if you
have the latest version. (what you got thru gusdev lacks some comments but
works). Also, i am still waiting for some source that some of you had told me
you'd send. It's hard to coordinate when not everybody cooperates.

To gravis: the patch editor is a little better than the original, but is miles
from complete. We will also need samples > 64Kb and multi layer patches if we
want to go anywhere, so please add it. It is far more important then 3d or
whatever is cooking... All the patches of synths i made need multi layering and
all good patches of things like piano (a real, not acpiano.pat) requires >64kb.

Last, i'm working more than full time on more than 1 project, so dont panic if
you dont hear from me too often. I have dropped the mod player project for now
because gusmod is more than sufficient and i think i should simply add the
dynamic sample loading and pitch but not reinvent the wheel...

As for 3D audio, i'm waiting for info from Sega. I cant really tell more, but
it will be a big step in personnal vr... (it's all a matter of licensing fees).
Gravis> want to know more? drop me a note at dionf@ere.umontreal.ca
(let's just say that it will put the polhemus in the closet...)

Ciao,
