Well, now that we've all got the new GUS SDK, does anyone know of a
way to convert patches made for keyboards like the K2000, Yamaha DX7, etc...
to a format compatable with the GUS?
There are a couple of ftp sites which are LOADED with patches for these and
many other keyboards... if there was a way to convert them, the GUS could
quickly become a low-cost alternative to the many other high-priced sound
cards which have specialized hardware to make sounds.
Any thoughts/ideas?

Does anyone have any idea if you can use the SDK routines with the DJGPP
gcc suite? It would be nice because it's 386 native code, and there's a DOS
extender to let you use a flat memory model.
