                         Unpublished stories
                        ---------------------

As all writers Stephen King has written a lot of work that never has been
published. These are infact among the first stories he ever made. The stories
that I have listed here is the stories that Stephen King himself has told of.
There are more stories, but Stephen King hasn't mentioned anything about them
yet. And one thing Stephen King has made quite clear; these books will NEVER
be published.

The Aftermath......Stephen King wrote this at the age of sixteen. (1963) And
it's actually his firt attempt at writing a full-lenght
                   manuscript, a short novel.

Sword In The Darkness....Also known as "Babylon Here", this book was finished
                         in 1970.

Blaze.........Stephen King finished this in 1973. It has actually been
rewritten, but still not been published. This book was
dedicated to his mother, which at that time was very ill.

Your Kind Of Place.....Unpublished essay.

Culch..........Unpublished essay.

Time In A Glass That Ran.......Unpublished story original titled "The Last
                               Of Her".

Sword In Darkness........An unpublished mainstream novel.

Second Coming.......Thr first version of "'Salem's Lot".

All the above mentioned stories can be found at "University of Maine at
Orono". And any student or researcher can be allowed to read the materials!
The rest of Stephen King's work is also deposited there, along with original
manuscripts and so on.

He has also written some unfinished stories. Their working titles are:
"The Corner", "The Milkman", "Welcome To Clearwater" and "The Cannibals".
